 2011-2017  Research project on the political economic of oil and gas development in Aotearoa New Zealand, while a Visiting Research Scholar at the Institute of Governance and Public Policy, Victoria University of Wellington.
 
1999-2001   Comparative study of government policies regarding indigenous development in New Zealand, Australia, Canada and US. 
 
1998a  Project team leader and principal designer of 4-year project on “Sustainable Mäori Development in Te Puku o te Ika,” funded by FoRST, Wellington.
